The Queensland Disability Advisory Council is a key channel for independent advice to the Minister on a range of disability and related matters that affect the broader community.
The Council is representative of the community and includes people with disability, family members, carers, as well as members from community organisations and disability service providers.

Set up and oversee the residential supports to people with an acquired brain injury
Provision of individual and group personal, social and vocational services. Development and implementation of individual support plans.
Provision of clinical governance, overseeing and guidance on the development and delivery of services.
Over see the establishment of services, provide guidance and work with other board members to set the direction of the organisation.
